Established in 1989, Monitech, Inc. introduced the first Interlock device in the state of North Carolina to provide a custom-designed product to meet our customer's needs. Monitech provides a valuable, cost-effective and user-friendly program to assist in the reduction of alcohol-impaired driving.
Monitech provides alcohol ignition interlock devices through North Carolina. These devices are designed to detect, evaluate and prevent a drunk driver from operating a vehicle. Being a service provider in the state of North Carolina we agree that the Ignition Interlock is a valuable device because it determines the blood alcohol concentration and if there is measurable alcohol in the blood, the vehicle will not start. These devices are mandated by many states requiring convicted individuals guilty of driving installed prior to the operation of their vehicle.
We install, monitor and service ignition interlock according North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles and the North Carolina Attorney General's office.
